The morning after the first night of the Los Angeles fires, I crawled out of bed and walked to Manhattan Beach Pier to check out the scene. The night prior, winds were whipping all around Los Angeles. The conditions made for some erie scenes and light.

As huge Dodger fans, my cousin and I made sure to stake out a great spot on the World Series Parade route in Downtown Los Angeles.

This weekend the AVP tour rolled into town, so I grabbed my R8 and headed down to the sand to check out Olympians, beach legends and packed crowds.

I used to coach these two college basketball players while they were in high school. While they were home for the summer, I had the opportunity to shoot one of their summer workouts. It is beautiful to see how they push each other to improve.

With a packed crowd at Valmonte Field, El Segundo took down Palos Verdes in the 11U Little League All-Star Playoffs.

I woke up at 4:30 AM on Father’s Day to hike in the Santa Monica Mountains.

I had the opportunity to shoot a little bit at the Sparks game.

From wild pitches to overthrows…

I decided to head out to the desert for the long weekend.
